Ingredients for Paneer Tikka
1. ¾ cup curd
2. thick1 tsp besan / gram flour
3. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
4. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
5. ¼ tsp turmeric
6. ¼ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder
7. ½ tsp garam masala
8. 1 tsp kasuri methi
9. 1 tsp lemon juice
10. 1 tsp oil
11. ½ tsp salt
12. ½ capsicum cubes
13. ½ onion, petals
14. 12 cubes paneer
15. oil for roasting
Ingredients for Curry
1. 2 tsp butter
2. 1 bay leaf
3. 1 onion, finely chopped
4. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
5. ¼ tsp turmeric
6. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
7. ½ tsp coriander powder
8. ¼ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder
9. ¼ tsp garam masala
10 ½ tsp salt
11. 1 cup tomato puree
12. ½ cup cashew paste
13. 1 cup water
14. 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
15. 1 tsp kasuri methi, crushed
How to cook paneer Tikka
1. firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tsp butter and saute 1 bay leaf.
2. now add 1 onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute until it turns golden brown.
3. further, add spice powder and ½ tsp salt.
4. Saute on low flame until it turns aromatic.
5. now add 1 cup tomato puree and ½ cup cashew paste and continue to saute.
6. add in the leftover marinated mixture and mix well.
7. further, add 1 cup water and mix well adjusting consistency as required.
8. now add in prepared paneer tikka and mix well.
9. cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the flavours are absorbed.
10. add in 2 tbsp coriander and 1 tsp kasuri methi.
11. finally, enjoy paneer tikka masala recipe with tandoori roti.
